Our aspiration
The University of Hawai‘ i Cancer Center is dedicated to saving lives in Hawai‘ i and the Pacific. It is inspiring hope by working to conquer cancer. Our flagship priority is to understand and address cancer health disparities— the avoidable differences in cancer health outcomes between different groups of people.

To reduce the burden of cancer through research, education, patient care, and community outreach, focusing on and embracing the unique and varied ethnic, cultural, and environmental characteristics of Hawai‘ i and the Pacific.
